There are financial institutions:

European Central Bank - The primary objective of the ECB is "to maintain price stability" within the Euro area and to keep inflation low. The other basic tasks are: to conduct of foreign exchange operations; holding and management of the official foreign reserves of the Euro area countries

European Investment Ban - the European Investment Bank is the European Union's financing institution and was established to provide financing for capital investment furthering European Union policy objectives. Thanks to its huge size of financial flow of money is EIB the biggest credit institution all over the world. Its annual size of financial flow of money reaches 26miliard €.
- advisory committees:
Committee of the Regions: It aims at increasing the participation of European regions in community life. The CoR, whose seat is in Brussels, is composed of 317 representatives of regional and local governments.
Economic and Social Committee: it is the consultative assembly of European "social and economic partners". This phrase refers mainly to representatives of business, employers and trade unions. The creation of this committee gave them an institution to allow their voices to be heard by the Commission, the Council and the Parliament.

others.

Differences between: Council of the European Union x European Council x Council of Europe
The Council of the European Union should be distinguished from the European Council, which meets four times a year in what is informally known as the 'European Summit' and is a closely related but separate body, made up with the heads of state and government of the member states, whose mission is to provide guidance and high level policy to the Council. It is also to be distinguished from the Council of Europe which is a completely separate international organization (at present 46 states), not a European Union institution.
