Includes 201 cobalt emitters, which are focused to one point of brain, where for example destroy malignancy. One single emitter is harmless to healthy tissue in short piece of time. In Czech Republic the gamma knife was bougth in 1992. Our device was 37th in the world, 8th in the Europe and 1st in post communistic country.
The last device, which I want to speak about, is artificial pacemaker. It is implemented when the rythm of heart is wrong and its duty is to excite the heart with electrical impulses. Nowaday pacemakers can adapt to human activity, which was the main problem in the past. Another problem was with energy. Fortunately these problems are solved. Since 1960 2 milions of pacemakers were implemented to human bodies.
I presented the brief description of some medical devices. I believe you can say how this branch is important. Fortunately from nature view medicine science will be with us forever.
